Community Guidelines
Last updated 2026-10-11
Outings in odekeke are normally visible only to the people you invite. These guidelines cover outings you choose to "Publish" (pages anyone can see) and what you share with your companions. Please read them together with section 5 of the Terms of Use.
1. Publishing basics
- A public page shows the title, the one-liner, nicknames, tags, the plan and the notes' comments. Photos, cost splits, members' names and private memos are not shown.
- Places you went, what you enjoyed and courses you recommend are welcome. That is what helps other people plan.
- You can unpublish at any time. The page then disappears for everyone else.
2. Respect your companions
- Notes and photos written by the people you went with belong to them. Do not publish them without their consent.
- Do not write companions' real names, addresses, employers, contact details, health conditions or anything they would not want public.
- Take extra care with photos of children and photos in which strangers can be identified.
3. Do not post
- Harassment, defamation, discriminatory language or threats against people, shops or venues.
- Other people's personal information (real names, addresses, phone numbers, email addresses, social accounts) without permission.
- Sexual or violent content, or content that encourages illegal or dangerous acts.
- Advertising, solicitation or spam: steering people to your own products or services, investments, religious or political groups. Affiliate links count.
- Nicknames that impersonate someone, or text and photos copied from others.
- Trespassing, photographing private property without permission, or damaging nature and cultural sites.
4. About places
- Opening hours, prices and reservation rules change. Write as a visitor, not as an authority.
- If you criticise a shop or venue, stick to facts and stay courteous.
- Quiet residential spots and places that suffer from crowds may not be suitable to publish.
5. What we do
- Text is checked automatically when you publish. Likely problems are held back or reviewed by us.
- Every public page has "Report". We review reports and take down pages that break these guidelines. You can also block authors you do not want to see.
- Repeated or serious violations can lead to unpublishing, suspension or deletion of the account (Terms, section 2).
- We comply with lawful requests from authorities.
6. If something is wrong
If your information has been published without consent, or a report has not been acted on, please contact us.
